Never intending to replace its predecessor, BMW made it very clear that it was departing from the inline-six lineage, and due to high market demand, the M135i was born. Powered by a 2.0 Twin-Scroll Turbocharged 4 Cylinder engine, the M135i comes with 306BHP & 450Nm. Maximum torque arrives at just 1,750rpm and hangs on until 4,500rpm allowing the car to reach 60MPH in just 4.5 seconds and continuing on to 155MPH in less than 40 seconds. The engine is coupled to an eight-speed Steptronic Auto with ratios specific only to the M135i, which drives through a front-mounted Torsen limited slip differential and xDrive hardware.
